PSAC Swimming Athletes of the Week - 8

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the Men’s and Women’s Swimming Athletes of the Week. IUP's Gem Crittenden was selected as the Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week while IUP's Ty Uhlig earned the Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week honor.

Crittenden won two individual events and was a part of a first place relay in IUP's victory over Frostburg State. She took home first in the 100 meter IM (1:08.70) and the 50 meter butterfly (30.08), while swimming the third leg of IUP's 200 medley relay.

Uhlig won two individual events and was a part of a first place relay in IUP's victory over Frostburg State. He captured the 800 freestyle in 9:02.50 and added another victory in the 400 freestyle with a time of 4:22.85. Uhlig finished his lineup as the third leg of IUP's winning 200 freestyle relay.
