LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has announced its Men’s Basketball Athletes of the Week. In the East, Shepherd's Marcus Banks (Athlete of the Week) and Lock Haven's Blake Deegan (Defensive Athlete of the Week) were honored. In the West, Seton Hill's Kedrick Curtis (Athlete) and Gannon's Mackenzie Morgan (Defensive) were selected.

Banks led the Rams to a 2-0 week as he averaged 21.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.0 steals. He scored a career-high 25 points in Friday's win at Virginia State.

Deegan totaled three blocks, four steals and 13 rebounds in the Atlantic Region Challenge this weekend. Deegan's best performance came in the opener against Davis & Elkins, with two blocks, two steals and eight rebounds. Deegan also recorded multiple steals and a block while Lock Haven held West Virginia Wesleyan to 26 second-half points in a 68-67 victory. He added two blocks and 10 boards in a 94-64 win over Penn St. - Scranton on Monday.

Curtis led the Griffins to a pair of wins in the Bobcat Challenge at Frostburg State this weekend. He averaged 21.5 points and nine rebounds per contest. Kedrick posted a double double of 22 points and 11 rebounds in the win over the host Bobcats and totaled 10 assists, five steals, and two blocks for the week.

Morgan averaged 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and four steals per game as Gannon opened the season with two wins over Bowie St. and Fayetteville St. He also connected on seven three-pointers and blocked a shot.
