KENOSHA, Wis. – Cross country runners from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference wrapped up their seasons on Saturday at the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships in Kenosha, Wis. at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.
In the women's race, Bloomsburg freshman Olivia Magagna was the PSAC's highest finisher in 87th with a time of 21:42.0. Defending PSAC championship Emily Bowers of Gannon was just behind in 91st place with a time of 21:44. Edinboro's Eliza Miller (130th, 22:08.7) and East Stroudsburg's Payton Falkenstein (137th, 22:12.7) also finished in the top 150. Edinboro as a team finished in 28th place with 741 points while PSAC champion ESU was in 32nd with 862 points. Other individual finishers in the top 200 included ESU's Sarah Williams (175th, 22:30.4) and the Edinboro trio of Katie Slimon (152nd, 22:21.8), Madeline Hammond (170th, 22:29.4), and Kadi Bauer (194th, 22:49.4).
For the men's race, Shippensburg's Garrett Quinan led the way for the PSAC with a 43rd-place finish in 30:46.7. Another Raider, Tommy Crum Jr., came home in 52nd place in 30:56.3. West Chester's Josh Miller finished 62nd in 31:04.0 while California's Jonathan Thrush also logged a top-100 finish in 96th with a time of 31:36.3.
Shippensburg's team finished 17th overall in the team standings with 490 points, with two other Raider runners collecting top-150 finishes: Ryan Wolfe (126th, 32:00.0) and Benjamin Devine (128th, 32:02.0).
