PREVIEW

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The 2025 NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championship Meets will take place Saturday, Nov. 8 at the West Branch Cross Country Course in Lock Haven, Pa. The women’s 6K kicks things off at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by the men’s 10K at 11:45 a.m.

PSAC teams will attempt to shore up an Automatic Qualifying spot into the NCAA Championship meet, which requires placing in the top three in the team standings. The top five individual finishers or top two not on a qualifying team also receive automatic bids.

On the women’s side, defending race champion Anna Igims has graduated, but the contingent from the PSAC should be competitive. Slippery Rock finished second in the team standings in 2024 while East Stroudsburg (which claimed the 2025 PSAC Cross Country Championship) finished third last year.

For the men, three-time defending PSAC champ Shippensburg looks to improve on a team runner-up finish from a year ago, with Garrett Quinan (who was runner-up individually) also back to try to claim the top spot. California's Jonathan Thrush is also back after a ninth-place finish last fall that guaranteed him an at-large bid to the national meet and will try to repeat that accomplishment in 2025.
