LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its second set of Baseball Athletes of the Week. In the West, Pitt-Johnstown's Justin Turcovski (Athlete of the Week) and Lock Haven's Garrett Starr (Pitcher of the Week) were selected. In the East, East Stroudsburg's Shanley Wall (Athlete) and Shepherd's Daniel Quintana (Pitcher) earned the honors.

Justin Turcovski went 5-8 with a homerun, five RBI and 2 runs in Doubleheader against Wheeling in Charleston, W.Va on Sunday. In game 1 - 1-for 4, 1 run, 2 RBI in 9-2 win at Go Mart Park. In game 2 - 4-for-4, 2-run home run, 3 RBI, and 1 run in 6-5 loss to Wheeling in 8 innings.

Garrett Starr was outstanding against Glenville State, throwing six shutout innings. Starr allowed three hits and he struck out seven. Starr’s quality start was enough to earn him his second win of the season.
