LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its next set of Baseball Athletes of the Week. In the West, IUP's Davin Landers (Athlete of the Week) and Seton Hill's Ian Korn (Pitcher of the Week) were selected. In the East, Millersville's Jimmy Kirk (Athlete of the Week) and Shepherd's Daniel Quintana earned Pitcher of the Week honors.

IUP's Davin Landers went perfect at the plate in four games last week, hitting .667 (12-for-18) with eight runs, eight RBIs, four doubles, and two home runs. He went 6-for-6 to begin the weekend series with Clarion and added a 4-for-4 performance in the first game against the Golden Eagles on Saturday, contributing to the Crimson Hawks' series sweep.

Korn was spectacular in his performance against CalU. Ian threw a complete game one hit shutout in the Griffins 2-0 win over CalU. Korn struck out 8 hitters and did not walk a batter. Ian needed just 68 pitches for the complete game win. California did not have a runner reach second base in the contest.

Jimmy Kirk slugged Millersville to a series win over Mansfield by going 11 for 16 with two homers, a double, eight runs and eight RBIs. Kirk hit a home run in game three and game four, and his four-hit, five-RBI performance in game three helped Millersville score 30 runs for the fifth-most runs in PSAC history. Kirk produced at least two hits and scored a run in all four games. He was also perfect in 21 chances in the field.
