LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released the 2025 PSAC Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners on Tuesday afternoon.

Slippery Rock’s Taryn Burkholder was selected as the Western Division Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year after another impressive season – building on last season's 15-3 overall record (10-2 PSAC) to a 15-1 overall mark (10-0 PSAC) in 2025. The team's 218 caused turnovers are also tied for the most in the PSAC.

EASTERN DIVISION

West Chester's Keri Barnett, voted the East's Athlete of the Year, returned to the field after an injury cost her all but the first game of the 2024 season and excelled -- leading the PSAC in goals (97) and points (123). She also led the conference with 10.88 shots per game for the unbeaten Golden Rams.

East Stroudsburg goalie Abby Simonetti was selected as the East’s Defensive Player of the Year after an outstanding season in front of the cage. She led the conference in minutes with 988, save percentage (.572), and total saves (207).

The East’s Freshman of the Year is another ESU Warrior, Sadie Kauffman, who scored 80 goals and totaled 105 points (both second-most in the PSAC) and averaged 9.06 shots per game. She added 27 ground balls, 18 caused turnovers, and 89 draw controls to her impressive freshman campaign.

Shippensburg head coach Brooke DellaValle was named Coach of the Year in just her second season in charge of the Raiders. She improved the team's record from 4-13 overall to 8-9 overall in 2025 -- and of those losses this spring, five were by two goals or less as the team found ways to stay in most games until late in fourth quarters.
