LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released the 2026 PSAC Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners on Wednesday afternoon.
The All-Conference teams and Major Award winners are determined by a vote of the conference's head coaches.
In the Western Division, major award winners include Seton Hill's Mila Udovicic as Athlete of the Year, Slippery Rock's Paige Jenkins as Defensive Player of the Year, Slippery Rock’s Aleigha Dubroc as Freshman of the Year and Slippery Rock head coach Taryn Burkholder as Coach of the Year.
The Eastern Division major awards went to East Stroudsburg’s Sadie Kauffman for Athlete of the Year, Shippensburg’s Grace DeMarzio as Defensive Player of the Year, West Chester’s Marissa Herring as Freshman of the Year, and East Stroudsburg head coach Xeni Barakos-Yoder as Coach of the Year.
WESTERN DIVISION
For the second consecutive season, the Athlete of the Year in the Western Division is Seton Hill’s Mila Udovicic. Udovicic tallied 34 goals and 36 assists for 70 points in the regular season. She added 100 draw controls (third most in the PSAC) as well as 31 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers.
Slippery Rock's Paige Jenkins earned her second Defensive Player of the Year honor after racking up a conference-leading 60 ground balls and 53 caused turnovers. Her 60 ground balls ranked fifth in all of Division II, while her 53 caused turnovers ranked third. Jenkins leads a Slippery Rock defense that is first in the conference with just 83 goals allowed.
The West’s Freshman of the Year is Slippery Rock defender Aleigha Dubroc, who debuted with 17 games played, 28 ground balls, and 27 caused turnovers.
Slippery Rock’s Taryn Burkholder was selected as the Western Division Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year after another impressive season – finishing 17-0 overall and 10-0 PSAC in the regular season. The Rock ranked second in all Division II with 256 caused turnovers and seventh in ground balls with 388. Along with their impressive defense, the Rock led the West with 286 goals.
EASTERN DIVISION
East Stroudsburg’s Sadie Kauffman was voted the East's Athlete of the Year following an outstanding sophomore season. Kauffman earned this award after being named the 2025 East Freshman of the Year. She packed the stat sheet this season, ranking first in the conference with 86 goals and 115 points, while ranking second in draw controls with 116. Kauffman’s 86 goals and 115 points both sit second in all of Division II.
Shippensburg defender Grace DeMarzio was selected as the East’s Defensive Player of the Year. She finished first in the East in ground balls with 59 and tied for fourth in caused turnovers with 41. DeMarzio ranked sixth in all Division II with her 59 ground balls.
The East’s Freshman of the Year is West Chester’s Marissa Herring. She played in 17 games this season, starting 16, and finished with 51 goals and 10 assists to total 61 points. Defensively, she had 25 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers.
East Stroudsburg head coach Xeni Barakos-Yoder was named Coach of the Year. This is her third Coach of the Year honor in her career. Barakos-Yoder led the Warriors to an impressive season finishing 17-0 overall and 12-0 in the PSAC for the regular season. ESU finished first in the conference and second in all Division II in goals with 322 and in points with 494.
