LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its sixth set of Baseball Athletes of the Week. In the East, Shepherd's Ryan Fluharty was named Athlete of the Week while East Stroudsburg's Evan Hughes (Pitcher of the Week) was also selected. In the West, Seton Hill's Brady McGuire (Athlete) and California's Beau Bigam (Pitcher) earned the honors.

Fluharty batted .571 (8-of-14) to lead the Rams to a 3-1 week. He drove in three runs and scored four. He smacked a homer in Sunday's win over Bloomsburg.

Hughes was dealing in the first PSAC East start of his career, shutting down the No. 24 Millersville offense. Hughes got the start in the second game of the series for ESU, throwing six complete innings while keeping the Marauders off the scoreboard. He only allowed two hits and gave up two bases on balls, striking out six as the Warriors shut out Millersville in the first half of Saturday's doubleheader. With the performance, he brought his ERA on the season down to an even 2.00 while picking up his team-best fifth win in as many decisions.

McGuire helped the Griffins to a four game sweep of Slippery Rock to open PSAC West play. He was 6-11 (.545) with five runs scored, a homer, and 10 RBIs. Brady drove in five in the Griffins game one win at the Rock and added a homer in the game. He was also 5-for-6 in stolen bases.

Bigam earned a complete-game victory in Game 1 of the series at Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday afternoon. He allowed two runs (both earned) on nine hits and issued zero walks, as the Vulcans posted an 11-2 victory at Point Stadium. Bigam tied his career high with seven strikeouts over 7.0 innings (83 pitches, 60 strikes).
