LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Men’s Indoor Track & Field Major Award winners for the 2025-26 season.
The awards are determined by a vote of the conference’s head coaches. The top three finishers in each event at the PSAC Championships are recognized as All-Conference performers. That list is linked above.
Track Athlete of the Year: Tommy Crum, Jr., Shippensburg
Field Athlete of the Year: Logan Anderson, Slippery Rock
Freshman of the Year: Andrew Szeplaki, Kutztown
Coaching Staff of the Year: Shippensburg
Tommy Crum Jr. of Shippensburg was voted the 2025-26 Track Athlete of the Year. He was a two-time individual PSAC champion in the mile and 3,000m, as well as a part of the Raiders’ champion distance medley relay. Crum broke the All-Time PSAC record in the mile this season with a time of 4:04.09. He wrapped up his successful PSAC meet earning Track Athlete of the Meet and Overall MVP honors.
Slippery Rock sophomore Logan Anderson was selected as the 2025-26 Field Athlete of the Year after finishing seventh in the heptathlon at this year’s Division II NCAA Championships. This finish earned Anderson First-Team All-American honors. This season Anderson broke the PSAC meet and conference record in the heptathlon.
The 2025-26 Freshman of the Year award went to Kutztown’s Andrew Szeplaki. He finished ninth in the pole vault at the NCAA Championship earing Second Team All-American honors. He was also the PSAC champion in this event and broke the All-Time PSAC Indoor pole vault record with a jump of 17-4 ½. Szeplaki earned All-Region honors and had the highest jump in Division II for a freshman.
The Coaching Staff of the Year award was given to Shippensburg University. This year’s staff led the Raiders to their 15
th consecutive PSAC championship, with honors from that meet including Outstanding Men’s Track Athlete and Overall MVP Tommy Crum Jr. Head coach Dave Osanitsch was named the 2026 USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Men’s Indoor Coach of the Year and guided 14 athletes to USTFCCCA All-Region selections.
