LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its second set of Women's Lacrosse Athletes of the Week. In the East, West Chester's Sydney Wasdick was named Athlete of the Week and Kutztown's Rowan Hall earned Defensive Athlete of the Week. In the West, Gannon's Isabella Veltre (Athlete) and Seton Hill's Mariah Williams (Defense) were recognized.

Wasdick scored five goals and registered eight points and scooped up 11 draw controls to lead West Chester to a 16-15 win over No.13 Adelphi on the road Saturday afternoon. She also added a ground ball and a caused turnover to her stat sheet. Her draw control after Kendall Fortune's free position goal tied the game late in the fourth led directly to another free position attempt for Fortune which turned out to be the game-winner.

Hall wreaked havoc on the defensive end in a pair of games this week for No. 20 Kutztown. Hall currently ranks second in the PSAC and fourth in all of NCAA Division II in caused turnovers per game, while also sitting third in the PSAC in ground balls per game. In Kutztown's 17-5 victory over Frostburg State, the senior contributed two ground balls and two caused turnovers. She followed that up with a dominant performance against No. 9 Pace, recording a game-high five caused turnovers and three ground balls. Hall also added a draw control and a shot on goal across the two games.

Williams helped the Griffin defense to a win over No. 19 Grand Valley State, 12-9, as well as a 13-12 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne last week. Mariah finished the win over Grand Valley State with 4 caused turnovers and 5 ground balls.
