LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced it's second set of Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week for the 2026 season. From the East, Millersville's Aubrey Strohecker (Athlete of the Week) and Millersville's
Livia Messenger (Defensive Athlete of the Week) were selected. In the West, Clarion's Evelyn Cook (Athlete of the Week) was selected while Slippery Rock's Leah Allman and Lock Haven's Devon Mason were honored as Co-Defensive Athletes of the Week.

Strohecker wrapped up the second week of conference play with four goals. She opened Wednesday night by scoring the game’s lone goal on a penalty kick, which proved to be the difference in Millersville’s victory over Bloomsburg. The Lewistown native followed that performance by recording her second hat trick of the season Saturday in the Marauders’ 6-0 win over Mansfield. Strohecker now has seven goals through the first four games of the season, leading the PSAC in goals scored.

Messenger has been a key contributor on the Marauders’ back line, helping limit opponents’ opportunities and reduce the number of shots faced by goalkeeper Megan Taltavull. Along with the defensive unit, she helped hold opponents to just seven shots over the past week, with only two being on goal. Messenger also contributed offensively on Saturday, recording an assist on the opening goal after finding senior Aubrey Strohecker in the attacking third.

Cook contributed a goal and an assist last week, both in the Golden Eagles' upset win over 14th-ranked Gannon on Wednesday night. The senior midfielder contributed to the first goal of the game against the Golden Knights, stealing the ball near midfield and feeding Ciara DiMauro for the latter's third goal of the season. It was Cook's turn to take advantage of a Gannon turnover in the second half. Paige Brewer stole the ball in the 46th minute, dropping a pass off for Cook 25 yards out. Cook struck a well-placed ball toward the net, tucking a long shot into the upper right corner to give Clarion a 2-1 lead.

Leah Allman, a senior goalkeeper from Olmsted Falls, Ohio, helped lead Slippery Rock to a 2-0-0 week in PSAC West and non-conference competition. Overall for the week, Allman went 2-0-0 with a 0.00 goals against average and a 1.000 save percentage with seven saves in 168 minutes played (84 minutes/game). In the first game of the week for The Rock, Allman was not forced to make a save and played 78 minutes in a 6-0 win over Edinboro. SRU's goalkeeper capped off the week with a seven-save shutout in a 1-0 victory over a tough Frostburg State team. Both games were played at James Egli Field.

Freshman goalkeeper Devon Mason recorded a pair of shutouts to lead Lock Haven to a 1-0 victory over Charleston and a 2-0 win against California (Pa.) this week. Mason totaled nine saves, including five against Charleston and four versus California (Pa.), while facing 23 shots across the two matches. She did not surrender a goal in either contest, helping the Bald Eagles secure two important victories.
