JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Pitt-Johnstown wrestling team secured its eighth consecutive PSAC Wrestling Dual Championship with its 46-0 win over Shippensburg on Thursday night, compiling an unbeaten 7-0 PSAC dual meet schedule in 2023-24. The Mountain Cats finished ahead of Gannon (6-1) and Kutztown (5-2) thanks to victories over both teams (17-15 over Gannon on Feb. 10 and 31-11 over Kutztown on Feb. 2.)

Pitt-Johnstown finished with a 14-2 overall dual meet record and now awaits the 2023 NCAA Super Region 1 Tournament, taking place March 2 in Kutztown, Pa.

Selections for the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championship will be announced at 6 p.m. on March 3 with the top seeds and brackets announced on March 8.
