LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its 13th Wrestling Athlete of the Week for the 2025-26 season, with Kutztown's Freddie Retter earning the honor.

Retter defeated Kurt Scheuerman by fall in one minute and 28 seconds at 285 pounds to cap off the No. 18 Golden Bears' 36-12 victory over Millersville on Friday, Feb. 6. He controlled his opponent from the jump, getting a quick takedown within the first minute before earning the fall shortly thereafter. It was Retter's first win of the season as he looks to repeat his NCAA All-American performance from a season ago.
