PSAC Golf Athletes of the Week - 4

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Golf Athletes of the Week. For Men's Golf, Gannon's Giovanni Delorenzi was selected. For Women's Golf, Shepherd's Sara Veara was recognized.

Delorenzi led Gannon to a first-place team finish at the Sunnehanna Collegiate on Monday and Tuesday, hosted by UPJ. He finished tied for second (96 golfers) in the tournament and was the top finisher among PSAC entrants, ending the week at 2-under 208. He shot 67-70-71, with his first-round 67 his third round in the 60’s this fall.

Veara shot a one-under-par 143 to take medalist honors at the Cardinal Fall Classic. Her first round 68 was four-under and she followed that up with a 75 in the final round. The Rams as a team finished in fifth place.
