LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its sixth set of Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week. For the women, IUP's Anna Igims (Track Athlete of the Week) and California's Brianna Lee (Field Athlete of the Week) were honored. For the men, Shippensburg's Gabriel Lewis (Track Athlete) and Slippery Rock's Joshua Gose (Field) were recognized.

Igims broke her own SRU record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the second time this spring with a 12th place finish from the second heat at the historic Penn Relays, where she was the only Division II runner invited to compete in the championship section of the steeplechase and was the top non-Division I finisher in 10:17.13. That time moves her up one spot to No. 4 on the Division II national list this spring and is the fastest time in the PSAC by more than a full minute in the event.

Lee reached the NCAA provisional mark in the high jump for the first time in her career on Saturday while competing at the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg. She won the event by clearing a height of 1.73 meters (5-8.0 feet) on her first attempt at the mark. Lee is tied for first on the PSAC Performance List in the high jump, plus ranks eighth nationally in NCAA Division II in the event this spring. The Lancaster native boasts the third-best outdoor mark in school history in the high jump behind a five-time All-American and a National Champion.

Lewis enhanced his school record in the 100-meter dash on Saturday, winning the event in 10.33 seconds, to highlight the day for the Shippensburg University men's outdoor track & field team as it competed at home in the 20th Annual Paul Kaiser Classic held at Seth Grove Stadium. Lewis's time in the finals improved his record by .08 seconds (10.41 seconds at Lynchburg in late March) and put him into the Top 25 on the NCAA Division II performance list. It's second in the PSAC. He later ran the anchor leg of the 4x100-meter relay that won the event with a season best of 40.78 seconds that surpassed the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard and is third in the PSAC. Lewis also ran the 200, finishing fourth in 21.94 seconds.

Gose won the collegiate shot put event at the historic Penn Relays with a season-best and NCAA provisional throw of 17.46 meters, which vaulted him up to No. 20 on the national list. He won at the Penn Relays in a field that included 23 Division I throwers with athletes from Notre Dame and Harvard placing 2-4 behind him.
