Six additional PSAC student-athletes earn All-America honors on final day of 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships

NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships - Day 2

Six additional Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference student-athletes earned All-America honors on the third and final day of the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. 15 of the 28 total PSAC competitors at the event earned First or Second Team All-America honors.

The contingent was headlined on Day 3 by Bloomsburg's Kelly Leszcynski, who was crowned national champion in the women's javelin with a throw of 52.07m. Also competing in the event was Slippery Rock's Isabella Bartoletti (Second-Team All-America in 11th place with a throw of 44.99), IUP's Kaylla Williams (13th, 44.78m), and Shippensburg's Abby Reasoner (14th, 44.54m).

Slippery Rock's Sarah Corrie placed 19th in the women's shot put with a toss of 13.43m to wrap up the women's competition.

On the men's side, in the javelin throw, East Stroudsburg's Chris Fredericks placed third with a throw of 71.76m to earn All-America Honors, as did teammate Luke Stevenosky (7th place, 66.98m). Lock Haven's Peter Bellomo placed 21st in the event with a throw of 57.94m.

East Stroudsburg's Peter Stanislavsky was 16th in the men's high jump with a leap of 2.02m, and the final two competitors were in men's shot put: ESU's Cole Gorham placed 3rd with All-America honors and a distance of 18.34m and Slippery Rock's Seaton Wozniak earned Second Team All-America with his throw of 17.39m.
 

NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships - Day 2

Six Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference student-athletes earned All-America honors on Day 2 of the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. East Stroudsburg's Porschia Bennett led the way with a third-place finish in the high jump, posting a height of 1.76m for All-America honors. California's Brianna Lee posted 1.68m for Second Team All-America honors, while ESU's Shannon Harnett finished 16th in the event with a leap of 1.63m. 

A trio of male athletes from the PSAC also competed in the decathlon, with Lock Haven's Matthew Muthler taking All-America honors thanks to an eighth-place point total of 7,073. Edinboro's Connor Munson was just behind with 6,723 in 11th place for a Second Team All-America nod, while Shippensburg's Mason Boyd was 14th with a total of 5,886.

In the men's discus throw, ESU's Cole Gorham launched a 52.73m throw that was good for 12th place and Second Team All-America. West Chester's Derrick Lukomski-Pizzo earned 17th place in the event with a 49.14m toss.

The final All-America honoree was Slippery Rock's Anna Igims, finishing 7th in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:41.51.

 

NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships - Day 1

Three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference student-athletes earned All-America honors on Day 1 of the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Slippery Rock's Kanye Thompson ran the 100m dash prelims in 10.14 (breaking his own PSAC all-time record) to finish 10th, just shy of a qualifying spot for the finals while teammate Drew Layton also broke a conference all-time record with a 5.22m mark in the Pole Vault. Lock Haven's Ryan Miller logged the 10th-fastest time in the 400m dash prelims with a 46.58 to round out the All-American trio.

In other men's results, East Stroudsburg's Bryson Gilchrist finished 17th in the long jump with a 7.19m, Lock Haven's Eric Zalar (21st, 50.87m) and ESU's Anthony Voto (14th, 57.58) competed in the hammer throw.

For the women, Shippensburg's Sasha Lee finished 21st in the long jump with a jump of 5.36m, Seton Hill's Haley Brenny finished 14th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.51. 
 

INDIANAPOLIS – 28 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference student-athletes, 17 men and 11 women, have been selected to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, as announced by the NCAA on Tuesday evening. The total number of PSAC student-athletes competing is an improvement on the 15 (eight men, seven women) that competed at the national meet in 2024.

The National Championship meet is scheduled for May 22-24 at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colorado.
 
MEN


East Stroudsburg leads the way with six selections: Chris Fredericks and Luke Stevenosky in the Javelin Throw, Bryson Gilchrist in the Long Jump, Peter Stanislavsky in the High Jump, Anthony Voto in the Men's Hammer Throw, and Cole Gorham in both the Shot Put and Discus Throw.

Lock Haven and Slippery Rock both had four selections. The Bald Eagles will send Peter Bellomo (Javelin Throw), Eric Zalar (Hammer Throw), Ryan Miller (400m dash prelims), and Matthew Muthler (Decathlon). The Rock qualified Logan Anderson (Decathlon), Drew Layton (Pole Vault), Kanye Thompson (100m dash prelims), and Seaton Wozniak (Shot Put.)

Other selections included Edinboro's Connor Munson and Shippensburg's Mason Boyd in the Decathlon and West Chester's Derrick Lukomski-Pizzo in the Discus Throw. 

WOMEN
 
For the women, Slippery Rock qualified a trio: Isabella Bartoletti in the Javelin Throw, Sarah Corrie in the Shot Put, and Anna Igims in the 3000m Steeplechase prelims.

East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg each had a pair of student-athletes selected. For ESU, both will compete in the High Jump: Porschia Bennett and Shannon Harnett. For Shippensburg, Sasha Lee (Long Jump) and Abby Reasoner (Javelin Throw) will compete.

Other qualifiers include Bloomsburg's Kelly Leszcynski and IUP's Kaylla Williams in the Javelin Throw, California's Brianna Lee in the High Jump, and Seton Hill's Haley Brenny in the 400m Hurdles prelims.
