LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its seventh set of Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week. For the women, Seton Hill's Haley Brenny (Track Athlete of the Week) and Bloomsburg's Kelly Leszcynski (Field Athlete of the Week) were honored. For the men, California's Noah Bernarding (Track Athlete) and Lock Haven's Peter Bellomo (Field) were recognized.

Brenny posted an NCAA provisional time of 1:00.33 in the 400 hurdles at last weekend's Slippery Rock Last Chance Meet, putting her at the top of the PSAC leaderboard in the event by almost a full two seconds. Her time is ranked 26th nationally for Division II.

Leszcynski is now second in the nation in the javelin after a record-breaking throw at the LHU Qualifier last Friday afternoon. On her last throw, the Nazareth native shattered her own school record with a mark of 50.40 meters (165' 4"). The throw beat her previous record by 2.75 meters. Leszcynski's mark is the furthest javelin throw in the PSAC since Danielle Collier in 2021 and just the fourth throw over 50 meters in the past 20 years.

Bernarding broke his school record and improved his PSAC-leading time in the 800-meter run on Friday while competing at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton. He eclipsed the mark he set earlier this spring by nearly two-tenths of a second after crossing the finish line with a time of 1 minute, 50.47 seconds. Bernarding enters the PSAC Championships with the fastest time in the league this season in the 800 meters by over one full second.
