Miller, Gorham, Stevenosky earn 2025 PSAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Major Awards

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the 2025 Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Major Award winners on Thursday afternoon.
 
The awards are determined by a vote of the conference’s head coaches. The top three finishers in each event at the 2025 PSAC Outdoor Championships are recognized as all-conference performers. Find complete results here.
 
Track Athlete of the Year – Ryan Miller, Lock Haven
Field Athlete of the Year – Cole Gorham, East Stroudsburg
Freshman of the Year – Luke Stevenosky, East Stroudsburg
Coaching Staff of the Year – East Stroudsburg
 
Lock Haven’s Ryan Miller was voted Men’s Track Athlete of the Year after finishing 10th in the nation in the 400m run after he was seeded 21st. His time of 46.58 missed the all-time PSAC record by .01 second. At the PSAC Championships he won the 400m, finished third in the 200m, and anchored the champion 4x400 team for LHU.
 
East Stroudsburg’s Cole Gorham earns Men’s Field Athlete of the Year honors after another impressive season. At the NCAA Championships he finished third in the nation in the shot put (First Team All-America) and 12th in the Discus (Second Team All-America) to become the first ESU student-athlete to earn two All-America honors at the same NCAA outdoor meet. At the PSAC Championships he won the shot put with a school-record 18.63m and finished second in the discus.

Another East Stroudsburg Warrior, Luke Stevenosky, collects the Freshman of the Year honor after a seventh-place finish in the javelin at the NCAA Championships to earn First Team All-America honors. He also won the event at the PSAC Championships and set a new ESU freshman record with the implement.

The East Stroudsburg coaching staff was honored with the Coaching Staff of the Year award. The Warriors snapped Shippensburg’s streak of 15 consecutive PSAC Outdoor Championships and finished with 165.5 total points at the meet to win its first-ever Outdoor title. ESU also tied for 14th at the NCAA Championships.
