LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the 2026 Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Major Award winners on Thursday afternoon.
The awards are determined by a vote of the conference’s head coaches. The top three finishers in each event at the 2026 PSAC Outdoor Championships are recognized as all-conference performers. Find complete results here.
Track Athlete of the Year – Gabriel Lewis, Shippensburg
Field Athlete of the Year – Gian Greggo, Shippensburg
Freshman of the Year – Ke’Aune Green, Shippensburg
Coaching Staff of the Year – Shippensburg
Shippensburg’s Gabriel Lewis was voted Men’s Track Athlete of the Year after finishing ninth in the nation in the 100m dash earning Second Team All-American honors. His time of 10.03 set a new All-Time PSAC record in the event. Lewis’s record-breaking season did not stop there. He was a part of the Raiders 4x100m relay that finished runner-up at the NCAA Championship earning First Team All-American honors. Their time of 39.61 also broke the All-Time PSAC record. The junior rounded out the year as the PSAC Champion in both events and being named the 2026 PSAC Outdoor Championship Outstanding Track Athlete.
Another Shippensburg Raider, Gian Greggo, earns Men’s Field Athlete of the Year honors after another impressive season. At the NCAA Championships he finished third in the nation in the shot put (First Team All-America) with a throw of 18.65m. This throw broke Shippensburg’s school record in the event. At the PSAC Championships he won the shot put, finished fifth in the discus, and eight in the hammer throw.
Ke’Aune Green rounds out the Shippensburg trio collecting the Freshman of the Year honor. At the NCAA Championship, Green finished 14
th (Second Team All-America) in the 100m dash, 17
th (NCAA Honorable Mention) in the 200m, and was a member of Raiders second place 4x100 relay. This season Green broke the All-Time PSAC record in the 200m with a time of 20.89. The freshman rounded out his debut season as the PSAC Champion in the 200m and 4x100m relay and as runner-up in the 100m. Green’s performance earned him the PSAC Meet MVP award.
The Shippensburg coaching staff was honored with the Coaching Staff of the Year award. The Raiders reclaimed their PSAC Outdoor Championship crown after finishing with 211.5 points which was 74 points ahead of second place. Shippensburg sent eight athletes to the 2026 NCAA Championship where the Raiders finished 18
th overall. At the regional level, head coach Dave Ostanitsch and assistant coach Doug Knol earned USTFCCA Coach of the Year honors.
