LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Cross Country Athletes of the Week. East Stroudsburg's Payton Falkenstein was selected as the Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week, while Shipppensburg's Garrett Quinan earned the Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor.

Falkenstein crossed the line first for the Warriors at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational with a 14th place finish out of 275 runner in 21:53.41. Payton was the first Division II runner to cross the finish line at the invitational. The Warriors had their strongest race to date this season, placing 8th out of thirty-six teams in the gold division with a team total of 228 points. East Stroudsburg was the first Division II team in the race.

Garrett Quinan was the top D-II finisher at Haverford's Main Line Invitaitonal; he broke the 20-minute mark with an excellent performance, finishing sixth overall with a time of 19:44.5. Competing in sunny and muggy conditions, the Raiders ran an unconventional distance – Haverford's course spanned four miles, which equates to a little bit more than 6,000 meters.
