LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has announced its Men’s Basketball Athletes of the Week. In the West, Gannon's Pace Prosser (Athlete of the Week) and California's Bryson Lucas (Defensive Athlete) were selected. In the East, East Stroudsburg's Adrian Brito (Athlete) and Shepherd's Favor Okigweh (Defensive) were honored.

Prosser tied a career-high with 28 points in Gannon’s road win at Seton Hill, shooting 11-for-18 from the field and knocking down three three-pointers. He added five assists and went a perfect 4-for-4 at the free-throw line, leading the No. 6 Golden Knights in scoring. For the week, Prosser averaged 27.0 points per game, shooting 61.3% from the field, 52.6% from three-point range, and 100% at the foul line, anchoring Gannon’s offensive attack in a 2–0 week.

Lucas averaged a double-double with 19.0 points and 10.5 rebounds, along with 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks per game, as California earned a pair of victories in PSAC West action. He also tallied 3.0 assists per game while shooting 55.6 percent (15-of-27) from the field. Lucas posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, along with one block and two steals, on Wednesday in an 83-48 win at Seton Hill. The West Virginia native helped the Vulcans limit the Griffins to a season-low 48 points and just a .333 field-goal percentage (22-of-66). Lucas closed the week with 24 points, nine rebounds, three blocks and three steals in a 103-86 victory over Clarion on Saturday.

Brito had an outstanding week as the primary engine of ESU's offense, leading the Warriors to a season-high in scoring and efficiency against Mansfield and Shippensburg. The freshman had performances of 15 and 19 points in both of ESU’s double-digit wins over Mansfield and Shippensburg, playing no more than 20 minutes in each game. Against Mansfield, Brito went 6-10 from the field and split a pair of three-point attempts. On the glass, Brito created numerous second-chance opportunities, with all four of his rebounds coming on the offensive end. In the second game of the week, Brito was not just the Warriors' leading scorer, but also their most efficient. The freshman shot 7-8 from the field, making both of his three-pointers and three of his four free throw attempts. Rounding out his performance, Brito also dished out a team-high four assists.

Okigweh averaged 14.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Rams. Twenty-two of his 29 rebounds were defensive. He added three assists, three blocks, four steals, and 13.0 points per game as Shepherd ran its win streak to seven games.
