PSAC Golf Athletes of the Week - 7

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its first Golf Athletes of the Week of the spring. For Men's Golf, Gannon's Giovanni Delorenzi was selected. For Women's Golf, Gannon's Vicoria Colmenares was recognized.

Delorenzi had an incredible second day of the Pawley's Island Beach Bash in South Carolina. The senior carded a three-under 69 to finish second for the tournament and the lone GU golfer under par (-1). It's his fourth top five and fifth top ten finish of the season for the Italian, who went two-under 34 on the final nine holes.

Colmenares went 78-79 over the two days of the Pawley's Island Beach Bash to claim ninth in her first tournament of the spring season. Colmenares tied her career low round of 78 on Monday and followed it up with a 79 on Tuesday, including an impressive two-over 38 on the front nine holes.
