LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Field Hockey Athletes of the Week. Kutztown's Marissa Rice was selected as Athlete of the Week while Bloomsburg's Molly Bross as recognized as the Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Rice had a dominant week, posting five goals in two games, leading No. 1 Kutztown to a 2-0 week, one of which was a nationally-ranked victory. In a 6-2 road win at No. 10 Millersville last Wednesday, Rice tallied two goals, including the final one for KU. In the 7-0 victory against American International College this past Saturday, Rice netted a hat trick, her second of the season, to pace the attack in the win. Rice is currently tied for the PSAC lead in scoring with 10 goals this season.

Bross increased her shutout streak in Bloomsburg's 2-0 win against Bentley to four in a row. She recorded one save with a 1.000 SV%. She is now 7-0 on the season.
