PSAC Swimming Athletes of the Week - 11

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the next set of Men’s and Women’s Swimming Athletes for Week 11 for the 2024-25 season. From Edinboro, Tommy Collins was selected as the Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week and from Millersville, Jewels Hepner earned the Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week.

Tommy Collins picked up a first-place swim in the 200-freestyle touching the wall in 1:44.77. Collins added a second-place finish in the 100-butterfly with a time of 52.18 in the Scots dual loss to Gannon.

Jewels Hepner broke 4 pool records: broke the oldest pool record, established in 2012 with a time of 24.45. Hepner broke the record with a new time of 24.17. She broke previous pool record for the 200 breast set in 2022; she holds the new record time of 2:26.97. Hepner is also a member of the 200-yard medley relay, 1:48.76, breaking a third pool record for the day. Also was a member of the same quartet that broke the 400-yard individual medley relay record by nearly seven seconds with a time of 4:00.69.
