DAY TWO RESULTS
INDIANAPOLIS -- West Chester's Paul Demesy and Clarion's Luna Castellanos highlighted the second day of competition at the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships for PSAC student-athletes. Demesy set a new PSAC record in the 1000 freestyle -- breaking the previous record by another West Chester swimmer, Victor Polyakov, with a new time of 9:01.47, nearly three seconds faster than Polyakov's 9:04.20 that was set in 2014. Demesy finished fourth on the podium in the event.
In the 1-meter diving finals, Clarion's Luna Castellanos earned her third career NCAA title with a total of 476.75 points, besting teammate Colleen Hudson's 456.50. Clarion took four of the top five spots in the event (complete results can be seen below.)

DIVING
Although diving is not a PSAC-sponsored sport, 10 individuals from member institutions will compete in that portion of the championships. For the women's competition, Clarion's Alexa Gonczi, Colleen Hudson, Kaitlyn Madigan, Taelyn Thomas, and Luna Castellanos will compete. Gonczi won a national championship in 2024 on the 3-meter boards and Castellanos took home both the 3-meter and 1-meter national titles in 2023.
For men's diving, the Clarion quintet of Jack Beattie, Ethan Coronado, Michael Flamm, Zakary Kennedy, and Corwin Lindeman will be joined by IUP's Jeremiah Laslavic and Nicholas Roddy in the competition.
The men's and women's championships will be held at IU Natatorium on the campus of IU Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN, from Tuesday, March 11 to Saturday, March 15.
