LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week. From the East, the Millersville duo of Zander Leik (Athlete of the Week) and Gavin Massimi (Defensive Athlete of the Week) were selected. In the West, Lock Haven's Kade Black (Athlete) and Gannon's Jensen Peake (Defensive) received the honors.

Black scored five goals in total this week, including a four-goal game against Pitt-Johnstown, who entered the game with the best record in the conference, and tied a 24-year record at Lock Haven for the most goals in a game with four. The Haven downed the Mountain Cats 7-0 in the game and Black's goals (4) and points (8) are the most in a single game in the PSAC this season. Black also scored the lone goal in a 1-1 tie against current No. 1 seed Gannon.

Peake powered Gannon’s attack in a 1–0–1 week of PSAC West play. He scored twice in the Golden Knights’ 4–0 road victory over Slippery Rock, netting both of his goals in the first half to help secure the team’s second conference win of the season. Peake finished the week with a perfect 1.000 shooting percentage—converting both of his two shot attempts and placing both on target.

Leik is coming off a strong week in which he scored twice. He scored the first goal in Millersville’s 2-1 victory over Shepherd and added the equalizer in the draw against No. 19 Bloomsburg. Leik has now scored in three consecutive matches and in five of the last six, leading the Marauders with six goals on the season.
