LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week. From the East, East Stroudsburg's Ryan Kiernan (Athlete of the Week) and Bloomsburg's Owen Peri (Defensive Athlete of the Week) were selected. In the West, Slippery Rock's Kaden Reynolds (Athlete) and Gannon's Frederik Skov Paulsen (Defensive) received the honors.

Reynolds led Slippery Rock to a 2-0 week overall against Daemen University and Pitt-Johnstown. Over the two games, Reynolds totaled eight points on four goals. Reynolds took five shots and put four on goal in the two matches. Against Daemen, Reynolds scored his first brace of the week which included a game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. Against Pitt-Johnstown, Reynolds scored his second brace of the week which included his second game-winner the week in a 2-0 over the Mountain Cats.

Paulsen delivered a standout two-way performance during a 2–0 week for the Golden Knights. He anchored a back line that allowed just 12 total shots (five on goal) and added a major offensive contribution by scoring his first two goals of the season in Gannon’s 4–0 victory at California (Pa.). Because of his play, Gannon posted its fourth shutout of the year and extended its unbeaten streak in PSAC West play.

Kiernan scored the lone tally for the Warriors on the week, coming in a 1-0 win over Goldey-Beacom on Wednesday. The sophomore buried a one-touch shot from the top corner of the box to beat the Lightning's keeper, and on Saturday he recorded East Stroudsburg's one shot on goal against Millersville, nearly tying the game off a slick run past the back line in the marquee PSAC East matchup.

Key defensive piece in a 2-0 week for the Bloomsburg, with victories over unbeaten Roberts Wesleyan and Shepherd. Peri played an instrumental role in shutting down one of the top goal scorers in Division II, Roberts Wesleyan's Archie Murphy, with 11 goals and three assists on the season, keeping Murphy without a shot in a match for the first and only time this season. He helped Bloomsburg hand the Redhawks their first defeat of 2025 with a 1-0 result, holding Roberts to just its second shutout this season. Aided in the efforts to keep PSAC-leading goal scorer, Josh Petty, from finding the back of the net in the Huskies' 3-1 win over the Rams. Peri recorded an assist on the team's game-winning goal for his first collegiate point.
