LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Women's Volleyball Athletes of the Week honorees. In the West, Gannon's Sydney Wake was selected as Athlete of the Week while Seton HIll's Kendyl Wagner was named Defensive Athlete of the Week. In the East, the West Chester's Zoe Haines (Athlete) and East Stroudsburg's Anna Coulter (Defensive) earned the honors.

Wake paced the Gannon offense with a team-high 31 kills across two matches this week, averaging 3.88 kills per setwhile hitting .333 on 63 total swings. She posted 15 kills in the road win at Edinboro before delivering a season- and career-high 16 kills against Cedarville, marking back-to-back double-digit performances. Wake also contributed six block assists and 36.0 total points on the week, helping the Golden Knights remain undefeated in PSAC West play and continue their hold on first place in the division.

Wagner helped the Griffins get a pair of PSAC West wins over CalU. Kendyl had a total of 54 digs in nine sets. She also added nine assists and five aces. Wagner set a new PSAC record scoring 16 consecutive points on serve as the Griffins took a 16-0 lead over CalU in the fourth set on Tuesday evening.

Haines registered 31 kills on 60 swings last week, along with five digs, two blocks, and an ace to help lead West Chester to a pair of victories as the Golden Rams improved to 16-5 on the season. Haines started her week with 13 kills against Millersville on Wednesday night while hitting .440 (13-2-25) and added a block assist to account for 13.5 points in a speedy 3-0 victory over the Marauders. On Thursday in a non-league tilt at Wilmington, Haines was even more impressive, logging 18 kills while hitting .457 (18-2-35) along with five digs, an ace, and a solo block to account for 20 points in a thrilling five-set victory over the Wildcats.

Coulter had a career night on Friday (vs. Kutztown) posting high of 21 kills, 10 total blocks, and 28.5 points, won in reverse sweep, 3-2. On Saturday (at Kutztown) she posted 13 kills, 7 total blocks, and 17.5 points, won 3-0. Overall, she combined for 34 kills, 17 blocks, 46 points, two service aces, and averaged a .331 hitting percentage. Her efforts extended the Warriors win streak to five matches.
