The 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer All-Conference Teams were announced on Wednesday afternoon, with Shepherd’s Josh Petty from the Eastern Division and for the second consecutive year Gannon’s Sverre Orten from the Western Division both honored with Athlete of the Year awards.

Other Major Award winners from the Eastern Division included East Stroudsburg’s Hunter Stites as Defensive Player of the Year, East Stroudsburg’s Owen Rennie as Freshman of the Year, and Millersville head coach Steve Widdowson as Coach of the Year.

From the Western Division, Lock Haven’s Danny Ogan claims Defensive Player of the Year Award, while Gannon’s Enzo Rekka (Freshman of the Year) and Gannon’s Billy Colton (Coach of the Year) were also honored.

The All-Conference Teams and Major Awards are determined by a vote of the conference's head coaches. Voting was concluded after the regular season and prior to the beginning of the PSAC tournament.

WESTERN DIVISION

Athlete of the Year Sverre Orten led the entire PSAC in points for the second straight season with 40 after scoring 14 goals and assisting on 12 others in 2025. Orten earned 11 more points this season than he did in 2024. He ranked in the top 10 in the conference in multiple statistical categories, including  total shots (45, seventh) and shots on goal (23, fourth).

Lock Haven’s Danny Ogan was named the Defensive Player of the Year after an impressive campaign that saw him accumulate four assists and tally seven defensive shutouts.

Enzo Rekka of Gannon had a stellar debut campaign, scoring nine goals and adding 11 assists for a total of 29 points (tied for second-most in the entire conference.) His shot total of 57 and number of shots on goal of 28 are the most in the PSAC.

Gannon head coach Billy Colton was named Coach of the Year for the third consecutive season after guiding the Golden Knights to the West’s top seed and a 11-2-4 overall record (8-0-2 in conference play.) His team scored 57 goals (22 more than Seton Hill’s 35, which was second-most) and allowed just 18, the third-lowest amount in the PSAC.

EASTERN DIVISION

In the Eastern Division, the Athlete of the Year was Shepherd’s Josh Petty. He scored 12 goals and assisted on three others for a total of 27 points. His four game-winning goals were the most in the PSAC in 2025.

Stites scored one goal and had one assist. The senior defender took 10 shots this season with four being on goal.

East Stroudsburg’s Owen Rennie was voted Freshman of the Year after tallying seven goals and four assists to lead the Warrior offense with 18 points.

Millersville’s Steve Widdowson led the Marauders to a 10-3-4 overall record (7-1-2 PSAC) to secure the East’s top seed in the PSAC Tournament and boasted one of the conference’s top defenses, with just 15 goals allowed all season (second behind Bloomsburg). The team’s finished the regular season with 81 points (29 goals, 23 assists).
