LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has announced the women’s basketball athletes of the week. In the East, Lock Haven's Madeline Evans and Alana Robinson were selected. In the West, Seton Hill's Mia Kalich and Slippery Rock's Kayley Joseph-Bernard earned the honor.

Evans erupted this week in Lock Haven's two home wins. Evans scored 21 points on 6-7 FG and also pulled down 16 rebounds in an 88-48 win over Davis & Elkins. Evans pulled down 17 more rebounds and added 11 more points in an 86-59 victory over Frostburg State.

Robinson was dominant on the defensive end in Lock Haven's two wins this week. Robinson had 5 steals, 4 blocks and 11 rebounds against Davis & Elkins in an 88-48 win. On Saturday, Robinson added another 4 steals and 3 blocks in the Haven's 86-59 victory over Frostburg State.

Joseph-Bernard averaged 7 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 4.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game in a 83-78 win at Lake Erie and a 89-75 loss to Glenville State. Against Lake Erie, Joseph-Bernard went for 8 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks and two steals. Against Glenville State, Joseph-Bernard put in a 6-point, 13-rebound, 4-assist, 7-block, 1-steal performance. The 7 rejections rank Joseph-Bernard third in program history in single game blocks.
