LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced the Men’s and Women’s Swimming Athletes of the Week. A pair of West Chester swimmers earned the honors this week, with Lenya Ryan selected as the Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week and Kolos Nagy earning Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week.

Ryan won three individual events against Division I University of Pennsylvania in a dual meet last Friday evening. Ryan won both the 100 and 200 breaststroke as well as the 200 IM. She posted a time of 1:04.75 in the 100 breast and 2:17.84 in the 200 breast (fastest in the PSAC this winter and a NCAA "B" cut.) Her 200 IM winning time was 2:06.81.
Men’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Nagy won the 200 IM and placed second in the 200 butterfly and third in the backstroke in a dual meet against Division I University of Pennsylvania. Nagy posted a winning time of 1:51.14 in the 200 IM while putting up a time of 1:49.91 in placing runner-up in the 200 fly. He owns NCAA "B" cuts and the fastest PSAC times in both of those events from previous swims this season. His time of 1:49.94 in the 200 back was good for third place.
