LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Tennis Athletes of the Week. In the West, IUP's Dani Ramos earned the honor. In the East, East Stroudsburg's Marketa Beladova was selected.

Ramos was unbeaten on the week and picked up three No. 3 singles wins and three No. 1 doubles wins with partner Ming Deewajee. The Crimson Hawks picked up a PSAC win over Lock Haven on Wednesday, defeated Goldey-Beacom 7-0 on Saturday, then capped off a busy week with a 5-2 victory over No. 18-ranked Wilmington on Sunday.

Beladova helped East Stroudsburg defeat California for the first time in school history. The Warriors are closing in on the school record for wins in a single season and currently have 13 wins. Against California, Beladova and Louise Boyer-Vidal notched their sixth consecutive doubles win, taking down the regionally ranked pair of Leandra Guildimann and Teddi Isherwood, 6-3. At No. 1 singles, Beladova bested Isherwood, 6-1, 6-1.
