LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Tennis Athletes of the Week. In the West, California's Teddi Isherwood earned the honor. In the East, East Stroudsburg's Marketa Beladova was selected.

Isherwood posted an undefeated 3-0 mark at first singles in three dual matches, all versus PSAC West opponents, last week. She rallied for a 7-6, 0-6, 1-0 victory on Tuesday at IUP, marking the first win by the Vulcans at first singles against the Crimson Hawks since 2015. Isherwood then clinched the 4-3 match victory against Edinboro on Friday to snap a seven-match losing streak in the series versus the Fighting Scots. The Butler product earned a 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 win at first singles to break the match score. Isherwood closed the week on Saturday with a 6-0 win at first doubles and a 6-1, 6-0 victory at first singles in the dual win over Clarion.

Helping the Warriors to a perfect 3-0 week and a new program record for single-season team wins, Marketa Beladova dominated at No. 1 Singles, going 3-0 while conceding just one game (6-0, 6-1 / 6-0, 6-0 / 6-0, 6-0). She also went undefeated in No. 1 Doubles, posting wins of 6-1, 7-6 (7-0), and 6-0. Beladova remains perfect against PSAC opponents, improving to 12-0 in singles and doubles play without dropping a set. She’s also riding a nine-match winning streak at No. 1 Doubles.
