PSAC Golf Athletes of the Week - 12

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Golf Athletes of the Week. For Men's Golf, Millersville's Logan Wagner was named Athlete of the Week. For Women's Golf, Millersville's Charley Kirby was recognized.

Wagner won two tournaments in the span of four days, first winning the Husky Spring Invitational and then taking first at the F&M Invitational. Wagner shot under par in both one-round events, shooting a 2-under 70 at Frosty Valley before coming within one stroke of the Millersville scoring record with a 5-under 66 at Bent Creek Country Club. Wagner helped his team to team victories in both events.

Kirby won for the third time this spring, matching a career-low round with a 4-over 76 to win the ESU Invitational by two shots. She finished ahead of golfers from six other schools including Kutztown, Bloomsburg, ESU and Lock Haven. Her play helped Millersville set a program record with their sixth team win of 2024-25. She also was runner-up at Bloomsburg's Husky Invitatational on Thursday, carding a 3-over 76.
