Petersen, LeCureux highlight 2024-25 PSAC Women’s Golf All-Conference Teams and Major Awards

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Gannon University's Ditte Petersen, Alexandria LeCureux, and head coach Scott Stano were all selected as Major Award winners as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its 2024-25 Women's Golf All-Conference teams on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners are selected by a vote of the conference's head coaches.
 
Gannon senior Ditte Petersen collects her third consecutive Athlete of the Year award after claiming a third straight PSAC individual title in April's PSAC Women's Golf Championship. For the season, she tallied a scoring average of 76.4 with three wins and seven Top 5's. Her season-low score was a three-under 69 at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational.
 
The Freshman of the Year award went to another Golden Knight, Alexandria LeCureux. LeCureux carried a scoring average of 79.2 over 28 rounds and finished tied for third place at the 2025 PSAC Women's Golf Championship. For the season, she earned five Top-10 finishes and two Top-5's.
 
Gannon head coach Scott Stano earns his seventh career and third consecutive PSAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year award. He once again guided the Golden Knights to the 2025 PSAC Women's Golf Championship, its sixth consecutive title, with the team finishing 20 strokes ahead of second place.
