Gannon concludes season at East Regional of 2025 NCAA Division II Championship

Round 3

The season came to a close for Gannon women's golf at the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Golf East Regional, with the team finishing in 13th place and a three-day tally of 90-over-par. Ditte Petersen posted the lowest score for the Golden Knights, at 20-over for the first three rounds. Alexandria LeCureux fired an impressive one-over 73 in round three and finished at 25-over for the tournament, while Cloe Mateo was second-best amongst the team with a total of 23-over.


Round 2

After two rounds of play at the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Golf East Regional, the Gannon Golden Knights are tied for 14th place on the leaderboard. Senior Ditte Petersen led the way with a four-over 76 for the round as Gannon as a team shot 39-over on the day. Grand Valley State continues to lead the field at 12-over, while Findlay (16-over for the tournament) is just behind and is 25 strokes lower than third-place Tiffin.

Round 1

Gannon finds itself in 11th place on the leaderboard after the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Golf East Regional. The team's 32-over-par total is only eight strokes behind a spot in the top-five, but all teams are chasing Grand Valley State, which shot a blistering two-over par to lead the field by six strokes. Gannon's Cloe Mateo and Andrea Martinez both led the Golden Knights with scores of seven-over-par 79 on Monday.

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Committee has selected the teams and individuals that will compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championships. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's Gannon University will compete at the East Regional, held at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale, Michigan on May 5-7. Each site will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. The number of teams and individuals from non-qualifying teams at each regionals are as follows: 

Central regional: 18 teams; 6 individuals;
East regional: 18 teams, 6 individuals;
South regional: 18 teams, 6 individuals; and
West regional: 18 teams, 6 individuals.

All participants will compete through the 54 holes of competition. The top four (central), four (south), five (east) and five (west) teams along with the top two individuals not on an advancing team will advance to the championships.

The championships will be held May 13-17 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The number of participants that qualify for the finals is 98.
