LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has announced the women’s basketball athletes of the week. In the East, Lock Haven's Madeline Evans and Alana Robinson were selected. In the West, Gannon's Mia Slater and Seton Hill's Mia Kalich earned the honor.

Evans continued her monster start to her junior season last week and helped lead Lock Haven to a pair of victories to kick of the program's PSAC East schedule. In the victory over Shepherd, Evans scored 16 points and pulled in a season-high 19 rebounds. In the victory over Kutztown, Evans secured another double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Evans has had a double-double in 11 games this season and leads the conference in rebounding.

Robinson's defensive effort helped lead the Bald Eagles to a pair of PSAC East victories over Shepherd and Kutztown. The senior forward racked up seven steals and two blocks, while averaging 10 rebounds per victory. In the victory over Shepherd, with 10 points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal. Against Kutztown, Robinson added 13 points, 14 rebounds, six steals and four assists in 37 minutes of action.

Mia Slater led the No. 5 Golden Knights to a 2–0 PSAC road week, improving Gannon to 8–0 in PSAC action and helping extend the team’s win streak to 15 games. Slater averaged 18.0 points per game, shooting an efficient 15-for-21 from the field across the two contests. She recorded a 20-point performance in Gannon’s overtime win at Edinboro before following with 16 points in an 82–46 victory at California (Pa.). Slater was a consistent scoring presence throughout the week while converting at a high percentage in the paint and in transition. In addition to her scoring output, Slater averaged 7.5 rebounds per game, added two blocks and one steal, and provided a strong interior presence on both ends of the floor.

Kalich averaged a double double in a pair of PSAC West wins for the Griffins. Mia averaged 17.5 points and 14.5 rebounds in the pair of wins. She also added 13 steals and 7 assists. Mia posted her second triple double of the season against Clarion. She finished with 16 points, 14 rebounds and 10 steals.
