PSAC Women's Basketball Athletes of the Week - 12

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has announced the women’s basketball athletes of the week. In the East, Lock Haven's Alana Robinson and Millersville's Kelly Cleaver were selected. In the West, Seton Hill's Hallie Cowan and Gannon's Kate Ratliff earned the honor.

Robinson was the leading scorer for the Bald Eagles this week, scoring a career-high 31 points against Mansfield on Wednesday. Robinson also scored 18 points against Bloomsburg on Monday and finished with 13 points against Kutztown. Robinson was also able to snag 17 rebounds, five assists, seven steals, six blocks, while shooting an efficient 76% from the charity stripe (16/21), leading Lock Haven to a 3-0 week.

Cleaver had yet another dominant week and anchored a strong Marauders defense that went to two overtime games this week. 1-1 on the week, Cleaver played a pivotal role in a win against Shippensburg with eight points, four blocks, seven rebounds, and a steal. Off the back of another four-block game, Cleaver was one block away from setting Millersville's record for single blocks in a game with nine blocks in an overtime loss to Mansfield. In addition to her nine blocks, Cleaver had 15 points, one steal, and nine rebounds. In a 1-1 week, Cleaver averaged 11.5 PPG with 6.5 blocks, eight rebounds, and a steal.

Cowan led the Griffins to a win on the road at Clarion.  She scored a game high 29 points on 9-13 shooting and 6-9 from three point land.  Hallie added 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals and a block.

Ratliff delivered a dominant all-around defensive performance in Gannon’s PSAC West win over California (Pa.), stuffing the stat sheet while anchoring the Golden Knights on the defensive end. Ratliff recorded 5 steals, 2 blocks, and pulled down 6 rebounds (5 defensive) while playing a team-high 32 minutes.
