PSAC Women's Tennis Athletes of the Week - 3

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Tennis Athletes of the Week. In the West, California's Leandra Guldimann earned the honor. In the East, East Stroudsburg's Lea Stefanovic was selected for the second consecutive week.

Guldimann opened the spring trip to Florida with a pair of victories in the 5-2 win against Minnesota Crookston on Sunday. She helped the Vulcans clinch the doubles point with a 7-6 (7-1) victory at the first slot. Guldimann later clinched the match victory with a 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 win at first singles versus the Golden Eagles.

Stefanovic set the tone for ESU in its 7-0 shutout win over Winona State to begin its Florida trip. The sophomore, paired with Theresa Bauer, won her doubles match 6-2, following that up with a 6-3, 7-6 win as the top seed in singles play, helping ESU improve to 3-0 this spring.
