PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week – 3

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its third set of Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week. For the women, California's Loreena Manser was selected as Track Athlete of the Week while Edinboro's Jada Cole and East Stroudsburg's Shannon Harnett (Field) was also honored as co-athletes. For the men, Shippenburg's Gabriel Lewis (Track) and East Stroudsburg's Anthony Voto and Slippery Rock's Seaton Wozniak (Co-Field Athletes) were recognized.

Manser reached three NCAA provisional standards, set three PSAC-leading marks and broke the school record in the long jump over the weekend while at the Dave Labor Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock. She won the 200-meter dash with a personal-record time of 23.63 seconds, which ranks as the fourth-fastest time in NCAA Division II this spring and the fastest in the league since 2023. Manser also established a personal best while winning the 100-meter dash in 11.71 seconds. The Virginia native additionally broke a two-week old school record in the long jump with a distance of 6.11 meters (20-0.5 feet), the third-best distance in the country this season.

Cole equaled the Edinboro outdoor school record in the high jump with a leap of 1.76m last weekend, which puts her in sole possession of third place in all of Division II in the event. She is ranked first in the Atlantic Region.

Harnett won both the high jump and triple jump last weekend, earning automatic PSAC qualifying marks in each. She cleared 1.73m (5-8) in the high jump and posted a mark of 11.88m (38-11 ¾) in the triple jump. Her high jump mark tied the meet record and met NCAA provisional standards that currenty ranks her tied for fourth in all of Division II. She ranks second in the Atlantic Region in the high jump and sixth in the triple jump.

Lewis came within .04 seconds of his school record in the 100 meters, winning that event last Saturday with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 10.37 seconds that currently ranks 19th on the NCAA Division II national performance list. On Friday night, Lewis finished second in the 200 meters, running a second-place time of 21.20 seconds that is just .02 seconds off the school record. It is a new PR by .08 seconds that moves him into sole possession of second place in school history for the event. Teaming with Ke'Aune Green, Ni'male Greenwood, and Lavar Jackson, Lewis helped set the all-time PSAC record in the 4x100-meter relay that had stood for the last 49 years, running 40.06 seconds, that ranks sixth in Division II. Lewis now leads the PSAC in the 100 and the 200 in addition to the ranking for the 4x1 relay.

Voto won all three of his events at the All-American meet (ESU), earning PSAC qualifying marks in each and an NCAA provisional mark in the hammer throw. His throw of 66.77m (219-1) broke the school, meet, and stadium records and is currently ranked second in all of Division II. His shot put mark was 16.25m (53-3 ¾ ft.) while he tallied 48.32m (158-6 ft.) in the discus.

Wozniak was the top collegiate finisher in both the shot put and the discus throw and recorded NCAA provisional marks in both events at the Dave Labor Invitational last weekend at SRU. He was the top collegiate finisher in the discus with a career-best and NCAA provisional throw of 52.11 meters, which is the No. 1 mark in the PSAC this year and No. 18 in Division II. He was also the top collegiate finisher in the shot put with a throw of 17.28 meters, which is the No. 13 mark in Division II this year. In total, Wozniak recorded two performances that rank in the top 18 nationally on the same day Saturday.
