LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its seventh set of Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week for the 2025 season. From the Eastern Division, the Shepherd duo of Merritt Delk (Athlete of the Week) and Hannah Wilt (Defensive Athlete of the Week) earned the honors. In the West, Gannon's Ella Fadale (Athlete) and Slippery Rock's Sydney Smith (Defensive) were selected.

Delk led the Rams to a 2-0 record for the week with a pair of goals and an assist, scoring and assisting in Shepherd's 4-0 win against Shippensburg and adding another goal in the 4-0 win over Lock Haven.

WIlt recorded a pair of shutouts in a 2-0 week for the Rams. She posted three saves and had a 100 percent save percentage in 4-0 victories over both Shippensburg and Lock Haven.

Fadale led Gannon’s attack during a dominant 2–0 week that featured wins over No. 24 Adelphi and California (Pa.). She totaled two goals and one assist across the pair of victories, including a pair of goals in the win over nationally ranked Adelphi. Her consistent production powered a Gannon offense that outscored opponents 7–2 and outshot them 58–10 on the week. Fadale was also named the Top Drawer Soccer national Division II Player of the Week and helped the Golden Knights extend their unbeaten streak to 13 games in 2025.

Smith, a senior defender from Evans City, Pennsylvania, recorded one assist in Slippery Rock's 1-0 week. The Rock's only action of the week came against Edinboro, where Smith registered one assist on SRU's game-winning goal in its 3-1 victory over the Fighting Scots.
